The Kentucky basketball team will have to settle for a 1 for 3 day in NBA draft decisions.

Freshman forward Jarred Vanderbilt is staying in the NBA draft, he announced in a video posted to Twitter Wednesday night.A UK sophomore forward Wenyen Gabriel announced earlier in the day he will also NBA draft. Freshman forward PJ Washington announced he would return to UK.

"Being a professional basketball player has always been a dream of mine,a€ Vanderbilt said in his video. "From the moment I first picked up a basketball when I was 4 years old, I knew it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. These past couple of weeks have been extremely difficult for me. With everything I went through this past season, Ia€™ve had a lot to think about and whata€™s best for me and my future. Through it all, Ia€™ve become a better man on and off the court.A

Injuries derailed Vanderbilt's freshman season, costing him the first 19 games (foot) and last six (ankle), and left him less than 100 percent healthy throughout the draft workout process.
